SQL Server : Row Versioning-based Isolation Levels

Overview

Row Versioing was introduced to reduce the locks and increase the Read Concurrency on the database,there are two type of Row versioing available in the SQL Server READ_COMMITTED isolation level with READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT and second one is SNAPSHOT isolation level with ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION
